The 1985 ZX1100 A-3 was the last model of the air-cooled 1100 four made by Kawasaki. It kept the fuel-injected, chain-driven layout of the earlier A-series with the same 120 hp engine. The water-cooled GPz900R had by then overtaken it in sales, and production ended with this model.
